I never fared well with PayPerPost and actually found that Blogsvertise worked well for me.

Blogvertise? I'll have to check that program out. Thank you for the info!

Yeah, I only had one post in PP unlike in blogsvertise....

Hmm. Blogvertise. It keeps being mentioned. I'm going to check that out right now.

Not too much. It could be more if I had a better page rank...

My husband just got his blog audited and booted from PPP. Any advice on other companies out there that are good to get with?

Taylor said...

Why did he get booted? I would hate to get booted. A lot of my income is from that program.

For other companies similar to PPP just look under the subscription area of the site.

This will show you all of the programs that I make money with.

Sponsored Reviews
Review Me

Are both great PPP like programs.

Then Performancing Ads is a private advertising program.

PPP never gave him a reason. He did send in a support ticket to find out why. I know they are auditing people in there right now. One of their standards is for your blog to fit with the opp. you take. Good Luck to the rest of us!! Thanks Taylor for all your tips on here. You really have been helpful. I will be signing up under you for the other programs on here as soon as I get some more blogs going. Not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket which I have done.

Hey Deb.

Sorry to hear that that happened. I would try contact support at least one more time and ask them why your husband got booted.

Be sure to also state in the message that whatever he did wrong won't happen again.

Then tell them how they could benefit by having your husband as a publisher. (Give PPP a reason to give your husband another chance)

Finally, you are correct. Putting all of your eggs in one basket is not a good idea.

Try to spread your income between a few different programs and methods.

I try to use

- AdSense for PPC
- Widget Bucks for PPC (on this site)

- Sponsored Reviews
- Smorty (doesn't work well for me)
- Review Me
- Pay Per Post
- Social Spark

All for paid reviews..

Finally, I like to do private advertising and private paid reviews. (Apparently I need a little bit more traffic though. )

Spread the love across the bored. It's the best way to be successful online.

Thanks Taylor. My husband had copied and pasted some of the original content from the advertisers opp to mix in with his own material. PPP said that was against their rules. Anyways, he is putting together another blog to use for PPP. I am going to follow your advise on making $$$ with AdSenense and Widget Bucks. What do you think about textlinkads? Also, you know how google owns blogger, if you use wordpress instead and have PR can you escape getting google spanked? Thanks

Taylor said...

Hey Deb.
Yep! That would do it.

Ask for widget bucks, I am not having too much success. (Probably due to the fact that I am using it on Video Blogging Tips only) But I bet that if you had a blog that discussed product, Widget Bucks would probably work well.

Stick to AdSense if you can. Text link ads pay out pennies on the dime... Not recommended.

Ask for the Blogger / Wordpress deal... I haven't had a problem with Google / Blogger... So I don't know if I know what you mean.
