AdSense in Blogger Posts
It's been proven that the most effective spot for an AdSense advertisement is
  • Right above the content area.
  • and Below the first posts' title.
Most people already know that the above statements are true, but most people don't know how to place an AdSense advertisement in this area because they're using Blogger.

Part 1 - Getting the right AdSense code.

  1. Go to this website: AdSense Parser
  2. Copy the AdSense code you'd like to place below your posts' title.
  3. Paste this AdSense code into the AdSense Parser.
  4. Click the "Parse Button" at the bottom.
  5. Copy and paste your new AdSense code into Notepad.

Part 2 - Finding the Edit HTML area.

  1. Go to your Blogger Dashboard.
  2. Click on "Layout."
  3. Then click on "Edit Html."
  4. Check the "Expand Widget Templates" box.

Part 3 - Find Feature

  1. On your keyboard hold down the "CTRL" Key
  2. Then hit the "F" Key.
  3. Search for - data:post.body

Part 4 - Paste your AdSense code

  1. Paste your AdSense code from Notepad just above data:post.body.
  2. Save your template.

Part 5 - Abiding by the AdSense TOS

According to AdSense TOS you can not have more than 3 ad blocks on one page. With that being said, here's a way to make your AdSense ads appear only on post pages. AdSense in Blogger Posts
  • Place the code below below your AdSense code.

Part 6 - Your code should look like this...

AdSense in Blogger Posts

AdSense should be displaying in Blogger Posts!

Your Index or home page should not be displaying any AdSense ads, but your deeper pages shall. You have accomplished the task. Congratulations!

Common Questions

Why can't we have AdSense on our home page / archive pages? Had we left AdSense displaying on the home page also, it'd be displaying an unlimited number of times. This is especially true when readers hit your archive pages. You can only have 3 AdSense blocks per page so you need to abide by the AdSense TOS and that's why you can't have AdSense displaying on your home page and or archive pages. My AdSense code is different. Am I breaking TOS? As far as I know, this hack does not break any AdSense rules. Last I saw, AdSense understood that this is the only way for Blogger users to work AdSense into their HTML. I've been using this method for 9 months and have not yet had one problem with AdSense. AdSense directly below post titles? AdSense in Blogger PostsYou're never supposed to display AdSense advertisements directly below post titles. If you look at my example to the left, you will see that I have much separation between the post title and the ad. You will even see that I labeled my AdSense block as an Advertisement. This is just for extra precaution. UPDATE: Now it's a requirement. Be sure to check out these other AdSense Tips. I have a huge post that basically has everything that you need to know about AdSense! If you have any question, feel free to comment below.

sorry no /g

Anonymous - Yes. Would be glad to. I will put it up asap.

Beauty - It worked great! But I would recommend using a 336 x 280 advertisement.

SEE: http://likebookstwilight.blogspot.com/2008/11/blog-post.html

It's also important that you don't have your post title directly above your advertisement for this is breaking AdSense TOS.
