- Default Blogger or Wordpress themes
- Side Scrolling
- Crowding
- Too many advertisements
- Crazy Colors(red text on a black background)
- No site structure
How can I lower my bounce rate?
Firstly, make sure you're not making any of the above mistakes. Once you have all those issues cleared up, move to the next step. Secondly, make sure you're site has- Good unique content.
- Links within posts to other related posts.

You have got me thinking on this one. You make it sound so simple but still I think you are correct. This will work. My blog is definitely a bit light on the internal links. Design and content can always be improved, these are things that will never be perfect. Thanks for this.
Here I was blaming the Entrecarders and Stumblers for my site's high bounce rate, I should have been looking a lot closer to home.
I see that you're worried about a high bounce rate. For you, you have a nice blog. The only thing that's bothering me is the post backgrounds are gray. (makes it harder to read. Is there any way you can change it to white?
Also, your images look like jpg. At least the image on this post... Try saving your images as png. PNG images don't become pixelated when saved.
PS: Your blog looks nice. I actually do think Entrecard is causing your bounce rate. Honestly... if your traffic was all organic your bounce rate would probably be 60 - 65 percent and maybe even lower... I'd stop using Entrecard and for every hour you would normally spend using Entrecard, write an Ezine article.
Ezines allow you to build some highly powerful links to your website. Not only do you get a high powerful link from the article you wrote and good placement in the search engines for ezines; Ezines even allow people to copy and paste your article to their own site, but they must leave the resource box and the link to your website in the article. (Pretty cool way to get even more links...)

I have stopped using Entrecard because instead, I can gain high quality links to my site and a lot of extra traffic from ezines instead. Give it a try..
I think I should also give a try to Ezine.

Ezine is looking like the way to go. Ezine and article marketing that is. I have already tried one for my acne site and it's actually been a success. The traffic has been great and the high powered back link will be even better come the next Google page rank update.
