Social Spark is Not a Scam! I actually have been asked this question a few times so I really wanted to clear it up with the rest of the world. Social Spark is actually a legitimate way
make money online.
What happened to PayPerPost?
The problem currently rests on PayPerPost. PayPerPost is actually a way for advertisers to buy links. Buying links is actually against Google TOS. With that said, both advertisers of PayPerPost and Publishers of PayPerPost are being punished by Google. Dropped off page ranks and lowered rankings in the search engines are the most common punishments. See how
Pay Per Post lowers Google Page Rank.
A really BIG negative to Social Spark
I would really love to say that Social Spark is a 100% awesome program, but as of yesterday, I have changed my mind. Social Spark has one big negative and I think it's going to make many people angry. Social Spark does not allow you to have AdSense Ads anywhere near your posts. Above the posts, to the side of the posts, or below the posts, it doesn't matter. AdSenses ads are not allowed.
Suggestion to Social Spark users
My suggestion to Social Spark users would simply be to begin
managing multiple blogs. You can have a blog for AdSense and a blog for Social Spark. If your Social Spark blog becomes quite popular and you think that you could make more with AdSense then build a different blog for Social Spark.
In final note. Social Spark is a pretty decent program that actually complies with Google TOS by using nofollow tags for all the links you send out. This is great because now you don't have to worry about being penalized by Google whereas, PayPerPost has caused many to fall in the SERPS and lose page rank.
With all of the above being stated, I would like to say Loudly and Proudly that
Social Spark is not a scam!
