Hey Taylor.
My name is Melanie and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I don't wan to take up too much of your time, but I would really like to know what a good bounce rate is?
According to Statcounter,
- 55% jump right out in 5 seconds or less.
- The other 45% stay for a pretty decent amount of time.
I would estimate that 55% is actually about average. However, if your bounce rate goes up any higher, I would really begin to worry.
What bounce rate(s) should worry me?
55% is a decent bounce rate. It means that almost half of the people that come to your site stay on for a good amount of time. However, you must also know that if your bounce rate goes any higher, you should probably begin to worry.- 60% - 69% bounce rate - I'd begin to worry.
- 70% - 79% bounce rate - Your site is almost pointless.
- 80% - 89% bounce rate - Hope your getting paid by the impression.
- 90% - 99% bounce rate - Dude. You're wasting your time.

I will definitely be back for your advice on lowering the bounce rate, I really need all the advice I can get in that area. I am not going to reveal my blog's bounce rate but it is on the wrong side of your scale.
Sounds great. I will be writing that post a little bit later.
Today hasn't been the best day for me. I spent an hour trying to figure out how to show people how to do the expandable post summaries in blogger.
For some reason, every time I began to make the video, the code would receive and error. But when I wasn't making a video, the code would work just fine.
Go figure.
I have to work out and get my mind off of blogging for a big, and then I will come back to you with a good post.
-Taylor
