The Best Blogging Tip Ever

I was looking at some of my blogging statistics this morning as I usually do.

  1. AdSense
  2. Statcounter
  3. Google Analytics
  4. Feedburner

The list goes on. As I was checking these statistics as I do every morning, I began to think: "I didn't get where I am today by looking at my statistics 24/7. I got where I am today because of hard work."

I began to think harder and that's when I realized that the best blogging tip ever has to be to STOP checking your statistics every 10 minutes.

Addicted to checking AdSense Statistics?

Let me make it a little easier for you. You'd make more money if you decided to write more articles instead of checking your AdSense statistics. This goes the same way for Statcounter, Google Analytics, and Feedburner.

Some people become so addicted to checking their blogging statistics that they end up forgetting how they got where they are in the first place. Their blogging income plateaus and then they fall off of the map altogether.

Greatest Blogger Tip Ever

Again, STOP checking your stats and start writing posts. I guarantee an increase in earnings and traffic if you do this and are Search Engine Optimized.

Haa..I mostly chk my stats after every hour or 2 with the help of woopra. Woopra is an awesome tool that can be found at woopra.com but unfortunately the registration are closed now so new blogger can't join that but I managed to get into in before...

Woopra? I haven't heard of that. Interesting.

Yes you are right. One has also to learn to stop checking for online twitter messages AND emails every 10 minutes!

Woopra.com 'looks good' but I have yet to try it cos you can't really use it without trying to understand or read how to install it.
