Does PayPerPost Affiliate Program Pay?

Let me guess. You've referred over 70+ people to PayPerPost and so far, none of these sign ups have converted into cash. If this has happened to you, you're not the only one. With that being said, I contacted PayPerPost regarding the issue.
I told PayPerPost that I had referred over 70 people using their affiliate program on my Video Blogging Tips blog and still haven't made any money. This is the response that I got in return.

Response from PayPerPost Customer Support

"Hi Taylor,

Thanks for reaching out to us. With Review My Post and the Referral program, you get paid as soon as the reviewer or the referral becomes active in the system and gets paid for their first post.

This means that they would have to go through the same process as you setting up an account, submitting a Blog, posting to that Blog and waiting the initial thirty days for payment. Once this process has been completed and they receive their first payment, you will get paid as well.

The majority of referrals just don't make it as far as getting accepted and posting. So, it is not unusual to have several referrals, but few conversions.

Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to open a new ticket to Customer Love. All the Best, Carri"

Why PayPerPost Affiliate conversions are rare.

PayPerPost affiliate conversions are rare because people are
  • Lazy
  • Skeptical
  • Don't have time
  • Or simply forget about the program.

PayPerPost Affiliate program scam?

It's not a scam, but it's not really worth it. My guess would be that for every 100 people you refer, 3 or 4 of them will convert into cash.

I think performancingads has a better referral program. I refered 72 people so far and made $50.

I am also using that program, but I haven't written a post about it. Maybe if I write a post about it then I'll refer more people.

I registered for PayPerPost almost 6 months back but was disappointed to find that most people/job-givers in there were looking for bloggers whose blogs are PR5.

For most of us starting out never got past PR 3 in the first month of blogging. Needless to say, I didn't "get" any posting job. I wrote off the opportunity and never bothered with it.

Dude, good post!

Kelly - You can still make a lot of good money with PPP. I'm making a few hundred a month with it and I only have blogs with PR2

Do Follow - Thank you so much for the info. I'll have to check out Never Blue and Hydranetowrk right away. Thanks

you are right. Its happen and we cannot predict it can happen smoothly.

So, just hope more referrals do their work and you can earn from PPP.

This is a bit discouraging. I only referred 6 people so far and if the trend that you say is true, then I should not expect anything at all.

I have been paid by PPP affiliate program before, so I think it is not scam.

Maybe you want to add the following reasons to your list?
1. Bloggers afraid that their blogs' Google ranks will be penalised after joining and posting about PPP.
2. They have heard that blogs without higher PR would not get paid reviews to write.

Have you joined SocialSpark though? What's your experience with them?

Out of 20 something referrals, I've only had one cash conversion. Haha. So sad. But I guess most new bloggers find it difficult finding opps especially with a PR0. So, they don't bother at all.

I joined SocialSpark which really doesn't take into account Google PageRank and I've managed to get more than 100 transactions since June. I have missed out on many more opps because I am not located in the U.S. However, the downside is, about 90% of opps is just $5 for 200 words.

BobbyT - Good points. Good points. I think a lot of it has to do with no opportunities available when first signed up.

Shemah - Well, 1 conversion out of 20 isn't too shabby compared to myself. As for Social Spark, I love it because links are NoFollow and as most opportunities are $5.00, there are the ones that are occasionally for more. I've done a $12.00 one before. Either way, $5.00 adds up quick.
