This is something that can work pretty well. However, it all depends on your niche and how many blogs show up in your search results. DoFollow Diver is the Search that I would recommend using.
Quick Tip: If DoFollow Diver is down, just search Google for dofollow search engines. There are usually numerous sources to choose from.
Fast Blog Finder
You had to know I was going to say it. Fast Blog Finder is an awesome program that allows you to search a keyword, pick a do-follow blog with a high page rank, and then leave a comment on that blog with a free high quality link back to your site.

DoFollow Tips - Avoid being marked as spam
- Make sure that all of your comments are informative.
- Don't overdo it. Akismet sucks. They will block you.
- Always use your name for your anchor text unless you see that others have been successful using their site keywords in their name.

thanks for sharing this. I have had the most luck with manual searching. Not much luck with some of the so called dofollow search engines.
Perhaps I will have better luck with these.
Fast blog finder is sweet. I'm not just saying this either.
