How to increase traffic with Forums

Traffic aside from Google. Yesterday I briefly discussed with everyone how to increase traffic by Social Networking. If you read the article, you will know that I broke things down into five different pieces.

Join communities, forums, and meetings outside of the web.
Join Yahoo Answers and other Answer sites.
Do guest posts and write Ezine Articles.
If you're into social bookmarking, do that also.
Also make videos and upload them to Youtube.

Each individual piece has it's specific importance, but for today, I want to discuss with you how to increase your traffic with forums.

Firstly, here's what forums will do for you.

Increase your exposure
Gain you free traffic and subscribers
Allow you to network with others

Before I show you how this works, you may be asking yourself, "How much can I get out of these forums?" Well, that all depends on how much you put into them. If you post junk and spam, you'll receive nothing in return. If you want to be successful on forums you need to post new quality material!

How to increase your blogs' traffic with forums.

Find a forum related to your blogs' niche.
Sign up for that forums.
If the forum allows, put a link to your site in the signature.
Begin posting quality material.

An example of quality material:

I recently did a post on high quality link building techniques. This post alone has gotten Video Blogging Tips hundreds of views.

Another post I did discussed some easy ways to increase your traffic. This post here wasn't as popular as the one above mainly because people already knew this information. However, it's still gotten my blog a load of traffic. Not to mention the fact that there are still some noobs out there that still enjoyed this post.

My Suggestion to you and Forums

Definitely join some popular forums related to your blogs' niche and begin to post in those forums. As you gain more respect in these forums your blog will also gain more traffic and subscribers.
