Increase Traffic Social Networking

I am going to make this short and sweet. Don't throw all of your eggs into one basket. Never allow all of your traffic to come from one source. Especially if that one source is Google. Google can be very inconsistent. If you want to be a successful blogger then you need to spread the love. You need to increase your traffic and subscriber base with quality social networking traffic. Increase Traffic Social NetworkingSo here's what you need to do.
  • Join communities, forums, and meetings outside of the web.
  • Join Yahoo Answers and other Answer sites.
  • Do guest posts and write Ezine Articles.
  • If you're into social bookmarking, do that also.
  • Also make videos and upload them to Youtube.

What's the big deal with Social Networking

Unlike Entrecard, Social Networking will allow you to get tons of high quality traffic towards your site or blog. More importantly, you're actually helping people which means they will likely come back for more. High quality traffic means
  1. Lower Bounce Rate
  2. More Ad Clicks
  3. More Sales
  4. More Exposure among your site's niche.

What's the big deal with Social Networking

Increase Traffic Social NetworkingI think it's pretty self explanatory.... ^^^^^^^^^^^ (This is for my friend's site. He just began. PS: Wednesday isn't over yet.) See the power of Social Networking? Sure, SEO, is still a big deal, but really, you don't need Google to be successful these days. Get a ton of traffic and go into private advertising. BAM! You're successful. Tomorrow I want to discuss how you can go about how to increase traffic with forums. Forums are a great way to increase your blog's traffic for the visitors in forums are genuinely interested in your content. Thus you have more conversions, more readers, more subscribers, and a lower bounce rate.

As you say, social networks are a good solution to get temporary traffic. Meanwhile i would appreciate if you would go more into details next time. What techniques do you use on these social network to get traffic etc..

I'll post that tomorrow. Be sure to come back for more. :)

PS: This isn't temporary traffic. This is consistent traffic. If I begin posting at least once or twice a week at a forum and become well-respected, people will subscribe and continually come back to my site for more.

This goes the same for Yahoo answers, and guest posts and things like that. The more you write, the more traffic you'll get.

This is a great point.
Anyways, I have had a link to your site from my widgetsforfree.blogspot.com for a few weeks now. But I just changed the link to DOfollow!

Oh, and thanks for your link by the way. Also, I'm planning to give widgetsforfree a redesign in the near future and hopefully this means more people will click on the link to your site on my blog.

Awesome. Your link is DoFollow also. I'll add a free 125x125 banner to you soon. PS: Why redesign something that already looks great?

It's a waste of time in my opinion. Content is king.

Agree with you on the eggs in one basket thing but I find that Google is a significant source of traffic THAT CONVERTS

I think the majority of us, ie affiliate marketers, use social bookmarking, you tube and all the rest of it, but Google remains a major source of targeted traffic especially if you get your SEO right

Do social forums gurantee that somebody is going to click on your blog. The tips here are very good.

Hey Niche - For me man, Social Bookmarking is kind of a waste of time. I mean, I guess if you just use Digg, Stumble, and Delicious it's all good. However, I wouldn't spend any money on a Social Bookmarking Submitter ever.

George - Here's the thing about the internet as a whole. Nothing is ever a guarantee. However, what I can say is this: The harder you work, the more you will receive in return. :)

Social Bookmarking is definitely a good way to increase traffic, but you often need to have a username with quite a few contacts/friends to get really high amounts of traffic from it.

Nice Blog.

Yahoo Answers makes a difference for sure. Repeat traffic is ideal for a blog.

Easy Cash - You are 100% correct. As Yahoo Answers and other traffic websites are great, it's important to keep your focus on organic traffic.

Among the social networking traffic with less bounce rate, its stumble upon, but make sure you do not stumble your site too often, make lots of friends in your niche or your interest request them thumbs up or stumble it or even review and luring part is you do them favor by review one of their sites, and see for yourself. less bounce rate you will experienced.

That's exactly right. By the way, I see you're using Drupal. How is that working for you?
