By now we all should realize that high page rank backlinks will raise our rankings in the search engines quite sufficiently. However, did you know the internal link building can be just as important?
Some of the blogging veterans will sarcastically say, "No, really?" Then I will go and take a look at their website to find that they have no internal link structure whatsoever.

Remember that article I wrote titled: how to lower bounce rate? Well, a good internal link structure is a great way to do so. When you have links within the content area of your page and the link relates to what your user is looking for, they will likely click the link.

Reader Content Navigation
This directly relates to having a lower bounce rate. When you have an internal link building technique and a great structure to your site, readers tend to stay on a lot longer than if you hadn't.
Internal Link Structure also means
- More page views.
- More chances for an affiliate sale.
- More chances for an ad click.
- More chances for extra subscribers.
- More trust.
These are all positive reasons to improve your internal link structure.

Internal linking really isn't too hard to figure out. Let me give an example.
Look at this page you're reading. As you can see, the topic seems to relate to "link building." If we want to look into greater detail, we could say that this topic is more about "internal link building."
