November Blogging Income Report

I don't know if you have ever noticed the chart at the bottom left of Video Blogging Tips, but it actually shows you all how much money I make and have made over the past 12 months. November Blogging Income ReportAs you can see above, my earnings have been increasing greatly over the past 3 months. I can't believe that I have gone from earning only $1.00 in January to almost $400.00 in November for a total income of $1689.93 so far.
This is due to
  • an increase in the amount of paid plugs I complete
  • and the amount of traffic my blogs with AdSense receive.
But here's the honest problem: Most people don't make lot of money by giving out blogging tips. It's only when they begin to rank number 1 on Google for their key phrases that they will begin to make a lot of money in this category. With that being said, it's sometimes difficult to stay motivated and continue to give out blogging tips because let's face it, Blogging Tips aren't high in demand right now compared to something like Acne Tips. And, to be totally honest, blogging success is greatly based upon Supply and Demand. I will go over that tomorrow.

How many websites/blogs are you maintaining to achieve this?

Taylor said...

About four. Some have paid posts and some do not.

You're making great progress

Thanks. My stats may be a little down this month because I took AdSense off of my cruddier blogs... I don't want to get banned. Anyway, I am going to be sticking with this site and probably two others so I think it should go pretty well.

You're definitely making good progress! I started around january as well, and although I haven't seen the same growth, your stats are supporting my idea that sticking to it pays off!

Keep up the good work

Dave - Definitely. You have to stick with it. Eventually it pays off. Sometimes you'll get discouraged too because you'll have 3 good months and then a bad month. But you have to stick with it.

Also, you may want to think about diversifying your income sources. I see that you have a site with a page rank of 3. This would do quite well with Pay Per Post.

Finally, you should change your site's link color to a different color of green or a blue color. I can barely tell the links are links with the colors you're using.

Also, for your AdSense ads, make the URL colors black and then match your link color with the color you decide to use for your site.

Deca - Thank you! Glad to have your support. :)

Thanks taylor, I'll try that. I've been playing around with different link colours to see what people are liking best.

Any particular pay per post group you would recommend starting with?

Taylor said...

Dave - Awesome. It should give you a better CTR and make you more money. Ask for a particular Pay Per Post group... PayPerPost.Com? I don't think I know what you're asking. Be aware that if you do use PayPerPost.Com you will likely lose your Google Page Rank.

Dave said...

So is that to say I shouldn't go with payperpost.com?? I can't afford to lose PR, and about 80% of the traffic I get on that particular website is organic google traffic.

I actually recall signing up with them a couple of months back, but didn't get approved due to not having entire posts on the homepage. Does that sound right?

Taylor said...

Sounds about right. Lol. That's why you should make other blogs that you can afford to lose the page rank on. Go with Social Spark for now. Their links are all "NoFollow"

Man oh man, I'm glad I grabbed your feed a while back. This is probably one of the better webmasterish blogs I've come across.

Beats the 'Gurus' thats for sure. I have no need to download a million ebooks to read the same thing over and over again. Your info is right here, and easy to find.....

Taylor said...

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the site. :) I'm lookin at your site and you still haven't changed the ad colors. :( Lol Well, if the colors you have are working well and getting you a pretty high CTR then I see no need to change the colors.

Dave said...

When I change colours, I usually allow impressions to reach about 300-500 before changing again to get a good idea of what people are liking. Going around the sites different sections, you'd probably find a few changes each day!

Taylor said...

Oh I see. Well, you may want to run longer tests if possible because the longer test you run, the more accurate it will be.

its good dude. Just keep do that and do as your planning. I believe you can earn more and find more suitable program in future.

Keep doing. :)
