Why paid posts are a waste of time

In the long run, paid posts are truly a waste of time. Many of you may think that I am crazy especially because you can really make a great deal of money with paid posts. However, the problem with paid posts isn't in the money.

Instead, the problem with paid posts is in the time.

PayPerPosts = Static Payment - Unique Posts = Forever

Other then the fact that paid posts lower your Google page rank, paid posts are also a waste of time simply because it's a one time payment.

  • Paid Posts Suck With each paid post that you do you get paid one time and one time only. That's it. You're done. You made your $5.00 and now it's over. Not to mention that for each paid post, you'll probably spend a great deal of time writing to please the advertiser.
  • Regular Posts Rock However, with unique posts or even a post set up for affiliate purposes, your income will always be coming in for that page over time. Forever. It's unlimited. You're not held down to a static payment.

Wasting time with PayPerPosts

I realize that paid posts can sometimes payout a great deal of money. Yes. I admit that I occasionally still complete a paid post. However, try to slowly make the change to an income source that's unlimited and that pays you while you're sleeping.

Programs such as:

  • AdSense
  • Private Advertising

Any noob can make money via paid posts. The wealthy bloggers are the bloggers who make good money while they're sleeping.

Haven't heard that before. I'm almost certain that that's against most paid posting programs terms of service. However, I may be mistaken.

PPP allow that, check their TOS

I couldn't find anything that said this. I went ahead and contacted PPP directly to see what the deal was.

Hi Taylor,

Thanks for reaching out to us. After you have been paid for your posts, it is entirely up to you what you wish to do with them.

Some leave them as is, some remove them from their blog and some add no-follow tags to the links. However, please note that some advertisers do check back with posts further down the line and may choose to ban you from taking further Opps. if they find that your post was subsequently removed after the thirty days.

I hope this helps!"

lol - Nope. It's still up and running. I'll have to put an ad up for it or something so people still know about it.
