Managing multiple blogs

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

If you really want to be successful online you have to understand the importance of having multiple blogs. For me, I like to manage around 5 to 10 blogs and update those blogs daily. However, it's probably not unusual to see people manage as many as 50 to 100. (These are the people making a few 100 dollars a day via blogging) Managing multiple blogs will allow you to be relieved of the pressure of having everything riding on one site. Instead of having to rank on top for one site, on one major competitive keyword, with multiple blogs, you can rank in the top 10, with 10 blogs, on less competitive keywords. Overall, choosing to manage multiple sites will allow you to diversify your blogging portfolio. This will in turn, brings you ultimately that much closer to blogging success.

Managing multiple blogs is a pain!

Managing multiple blogs can be a hassle. I have already done 5 posts today in about 2 hours. Still, I have about 2 more hours of work left to do. Most of that will be spent on my link building campaign. My point is this: if you don't want to work, then don't. However, don't ask yourself 6 months from now why you aren't successful online. Managing multiple blogs is a pain, but unless you expect to be just as successful as Darren Rowse with one simple blog, then I would recommend that you do in fact have multiple blogs.

How to manage multiple blogs.

As if one blog isn't hard enough to update, how in the world do you manage to update 5 or 10? Let me tell you guys that it isn't all that easy. I have to get up early, I sometimes get distracted because I am working from home, and then things sometimes things just get flat out boring. If you want to manage multiple blogs you have to keep your eyes on the prize. Think about your success down the road. Envision that trip to Hawaii. Envision that nice car you've always wanted. More importantly, stay organized.

Managing multiple blogs takes organization.

If you're looking to make blogging a rewarding career, you must be organized. Again, blogging is not easy money at first. However, the harder you work the more it will seem that the money will just begin to pour in pretty easily. You can make quick cash online, but again, it does take hard work! With that being said, I keep organized by having a "To Do" daily checklist of the following, 1) How many posts I do a day for each site. 2) How many videos I do a day for each site. (If applicable.) 3) A list of social bookmarking services to submit my posts to. 4) How many links I should build a day. 5) The keywords I am targeting as anchor text for each site. 6) Any forums that I should post in for extra traffic. 7) How many times a day I should post in those forums a day.

Multiple blogs with organization and consistency...

If you can create or if you use the checklist above, and you follow it consistently every single day, I have no doubt in my mind that your blogs will begin to rankly highly in the search engines and you will be successful. Again, the key to having multiple blogs is organization and consistency. With that same key, you will unlock your door to blogging success. Remember, blogging for money takes patience!

Quick Cash Online

Sunday, September 28, 2008

Here at Video Blogging Tips, I love teaching people how to make quick cash online by blogging. Here's a chart showing you just how much money I have earned on a monthly basis.
(Chart Updated: November 2nd, 2008)
Quick Cash Online Other notable facts:
  • I am a high school graduate.
  • I haven't even hit college.
  • I work my own hours.
  • I make money 24 hours a day. (Even when I am asleep.)
  • I decide how much money I make.
  • I play Call of Duty on my Xbox 360 while I work.
  • And I can even work in my boxers.
Do you not understand how awesome that is? No longer do I have to work some dead end job which will only give me a raise by the pennies. Instead, I get to decide how much I want to make. Seriously. How much can I make Blogging? As much as I want! Now, you may call working online lazy, but I beg to differ. I call it "smart and lazy." Thanks for that quote Mr. Justino.

Making easy cash online is possible

To get back to my point, you can really make some easy cash online and I have the charts to prove it. However, before you read any further or sign up for any of the programs that I am about to show you, I want you to understand that blogging isn't some "get rich quick" scheme. Making cash quickly online is pretty difficult to do, but once you know how to do it, you'll have money pouring in with what seems to be like almost no effort at all.

Cash Quickly Online Programs

There are many programs which can make you easy cash online. Really, it comes to narrowing down where you should begin. I'd love to say that you should start off with AdSense, however, I don't think that you should. Instead, if you're looking to make cash extremely quickly online, I want you to take a look at the following programs. Please note that these are programs that I have personally used and each and every one of them have contributed to the earnings chart that I showed you above. Also note that a lot of these programs are paid plugging programs.

Pay Per Post for Quick cash Online

Quick Cash Online PayPerPost
I love Pay Per Post. Now, I am not going to lie. Pay Per Post is one of my favorite online money making programs. It's actually been one of my major income contributors for the month of September. Frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Making quick cash with Pay Per Post. All you have to do to make money using Pay Per Post is simply create a blog about anything that interests you as long as it's appropriate. Then, simply go to Pay Per Post dot com, sign in, and view available opportunities that suit your blog. How time consuming is Pay Per Post? Pay Per Post is not time consuming at all. The longest I have ever spent on a post is probably 20 minutes and at the end, I made about $20.00. Not too bad. A dollar a minute! I wish I could make that daily. How much quick money can I earn with Pay Per Post? The amount of money you earn with Pay Per Post can depend on the success of your blog. However, it's not uncommon to see more successful bloggers earn at least $1000.00 a month with Pay Per Post. Be sure to check out my article on how to make money with PayPerPost. Sign up to make money with Pay Per Post today!

Sponsored Reviews for easy cash online

Sponsored Reviews is awesome! Another program which is similar to Pay Per Post is Sponsored Reviews. Sponsored Reviews is more formal and the rules are more strict but even with that being said, Sponsored Reviews is still a great way to make easy and quick cash online. Making quick cash online with Sponsored Reviews. Basically, Sponsored Reviews works similarly to Pay Per Post. You log in and find an opportunity which suits your blog. Once you have found an opportunity that suits you, you proceed to submit your site to the advertiser. From there, the advertiser will inform you if you got the job to write about their site. How time consuming is Sponsored Reviews? Sponsored Reviews is a little bit more time consuming than Pay Per Post just because of the fact that you practically have to find an advertiser yourself. Whereas, Pay Per Post allows you to complete a task right away without advertiser's approval. How much quick and easy money can I earn with Sponsored Reviews? Like I said, Sponsored reviews is a little more time consuming. However, It's not uncommon for people with extremely popular blogs to earn easily over a few thousand dollars a month. Again, this is solely based off of your blog's popularity. If your blog is relatively new, I would stick with Pay Per Post. Sign up to make money with Sponsored Reviews today!

Other programs for quick cash online.

The two programs above are the main programs that I use to make quick cash online. However, there are many other programs out there that make you just as much money if not more money than the programs I reviewed above. I greatly encourage you to test out the following programs as you may find that the programs below will work better for you than the programs above I reviewed above. The first program is Social Spark. Social Spark Scam? Not anywhere near it. Social Spark is a great way for extra cash. How to get a Google Page Rank

How to get a Google Page Rank

I thought it was Google's birthday yesterday, but it turns out that they gave me and many others much more than they took. I make fast cash online and Google just made things a little quicker and easier by giving my blog, "Video Blogging Tips dot com," a Page Rank of 2. This means that I can now make even more quick cash onlin using sites like Pay Per Post and Sponsored Reviews. Not to worry. I won't flood this fantastic blog with a bunch of garbage now just because of the fact that I can. Instead, I am going to teach you how to get a page rank also. It's not really that hard to do once you know how to do it.

Increase Google Page Rank with Inbound Links

If you're looking to get your website a Google Page Rank, then you need one thing and one thing only. Inbound links. Inbound links from high page ranked websites is the best way to get your site ranked. Be sure to check out my articles on how to get inbound links from others and how to get high page rank backlinks. Having inbound links tells Google that your site is important to the search engines. The more inbound links that you have, the higher your page rank will be.

Other factors that increase your Google Page Rank

As the main factor of page rank will be determined by the number of inbound links your site actually has, there are a few more smaller, but far less important factors that will also determine your site's Google Page Rank. To be totally honest, these so called, "other factors," haven't really affected me at all. So frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. Just get some high quality back links to your website and you'll be grand.

Blogging for money takes patience

Blogging for money takes patience

I have never ever shown this to anybody until now. Look how slowly blogging for dollars began for me. In my first month I only made about $1.00. In my second month I made about $20.00. April was sky high because it was this month that I was introduced to PayPerPost and The News Room. At the time, The News Room was paying crazy dollars per impression. After April, my earnings plummeted. The News Room no longer paid what it originally had been paying per impression. In fact, The News Room cut their pay per impression to about 10% of what is originally was.

"You can really make money blogging!"

Between January and September of 2008, I made $816.14 for blogging using various programs. Why am I sharing this with you guys? For two reasons. One reason is to show you that blogging for dollars takes patience. The second reason for me showing you this is to show you that you can really make money blogging online and you really don't need much of an education to do so. I'm just out of high school living the American dream. I am running my own business. To this day, I have hired 2 of my friends. They're helping me with my major project, Celebrity News Polls.

Blogging for fun.

My story is kind of a repeating product of what Pro Blogger Darren Rowse went through. At first, I began blogging for fun. I was in my senior year of high school at the time and figured, hey, let's start a little blog about the Perfect Pushups and let's see how many people I can actually get to view my site. At this point, it really wasn't about the money, it was about the traffic. Already being lucky enough to start Video Blogging early, Ultimate Perfect Pushup Review was a hit. It received a hundred plus unique views daily through Youtube after only about 1 to 2 weeks of going live.

Blogging for fun and for money.

After being told that it wasn't possible to make money online, I looked straight into the ------- advertising program. I'm the character type that doesn't give up. If you say I can't do something, I am going to try my hardest to do it until I can prove you wrong. After being greatly disgruntled by ------- early on, I decided to look into some other forms of advertising. At this point, I was quite frustrated. I was working hours a day, researching every minute, and I was doing it for what seemed to be pennies on the dime. That's when I decided to purchase my first E-Book. I paid the guy $10.00 and he practically referred me to The News Room. Sure enough, the $10.00's paid off as I made $56.66 using his pay per impression "system."

My first and last purchase on an ------- E-Book.

After making my first pay check using The News Room, I thought to myself, "Why isn't everyone using it?" Sure enough, I later learned that ------- pays way more, and that you just have to have your ads formatted and placed in the correct spots to really make any money. At this point in time I decided to spend my first paycheck on a $100.00 "Increase ------- Earnings" E-Book. Sure enough, the book taught me everything I had already known. Thankfully, I was able to get my money back over a month later.

Every blogging tip can be found online for Free.

At this time, I learned that everything you need to know, can be found for a no cost fee online by viewing other blogs and or videos. This is when I was introduced to Joel Comm. I watched every single one of his free lessons on Youtube. Sure enough, my earnings greatly increased.

Working hours on end for low to no payout.

I have now been blogging since January of 2008. My income from Blogging has been a wonderful blessing thus far. Later in life, I hope to make blogging a full career, but only I can make that happen. Blogging is hard work and it's not just some lazy get rich quick scheme. To be honest, I have made $0.00 so far on Video Blogging Tips because of the fact that the topic just isn't very popular. Early in your blogging career, you will be working hours on end for an extremely low payout unless you're one of the lucky ones that catches a crazy break. Even today, I am still making way under what I probably should be. However, this hasn't stopped me from pursuing my dreams.

Your life dreams come true while blogging.

Finally, the thing I like the most about blogging is the fact that you can be anything you want to be. A backyard wrestler, a Madden Gamer, a Tech Supporter, and or basically anything else you can think of. As long as you're providing a blog of value for your readers, you will be successful. Hope you enjoyed my story thus far. Be sure to subscribe below for updates to continue in following me while I pursue my dreams.

Entrecard Review

Entrecard - The Entrecard Review.

What does Entrecard do for you?

Entrecard
is a time consuming task that allows you to generate loads of traffic to your website in just a matter of days. This traffic load can range from anywhere in the low 50's to the upper hundreds and sometimes even reaching the thousands depending on how much time you spend dropping credits and purchasing ad space daily. For Video Blogging Tips, Entrecard gets me 150-300 unique views a day.

How does Entrecard Work?

Gaining loads of traffic to your website or blog can be accomplished by simply gaining "Entre-credits." These credits are gained by looking at other blogs and then by "dropping" or sharing your blog with the blog you've looked at. Aternatively, you can purchases your "Entre-credits" through online stores such as Ebay. With these "Entre-credits" you can purchase 125x125 pixel sized ad spots on other blogs that are also in the Entrecard network. This sounds like a fantastic deal. Loads of traffic to your website and you don't even have to spend a dime. What program can beat that? Hint, hint. Youtube and other more efficient Web 2.0 Marketing tactics.

Entrecard reviews the Bad

The problem with Entrecard isn't the program itself, but instead, it's the users who use it. Think about it. How many websites have you visited through Entrecard? Probably thousands. Now, how many of those websites have you actually even cared to look at or suscribe to? Probably under 10. Higher bounce rates, lower CTR's on pay per click ads, and a waste of bandwidth are all Entrecard plagues and are all patterns that regulate through the entire Entrecard Network. With that being said, the program itself is pointless for quality traffic related and pay per click related purposes.

Entrecard reviews the Good

If you've decided to continue reading through my negative comments about Entrecard, then congratulations. Again, I want you to be aware that Entrecard isn't a bad program when used correctly. Here are some things that I have found Entrecard to be very useful for.

Entrecard positivity list

1) Greatly increases your Alexa ranking. 2) Helps Google know your site is available on the web. 3) Gives you free exposure. 4) Allows you to make a network of friends in your niche. 5) Allows you to analyze your competition. 6) Finally, Entrecard does bring in loads of traffic. 0) ^^^ Most people will say that all traffic is good traffic.

Recommendations for Entrecard Users

If you have to pay for bandwidth, I wouldn't use Entrecard. It's a waste of money. Also, if you're planning on using Entrecard, do not let it be your main source of traffic. See my article on how to lower Entrecard Bounce Rate. Finally, do not spend more time on Entrecard than you do writing articles. In the long run, writing articles will bring your more quality traffic and will make you the most money.

Page one of Google overnight

Saturday, September 20, 2008

Last time I discussed how you guys can increase earnings up to 25% using video marketing. Did you know that with video marketing you can land on page one of Google overnight or even hours after you post your video? That's part of the reason I like doing Video Blogging Tips. It allows my website to get more exposure. For instance, I made this video targeting the long-tail keywords of: web traffic video marketing. I snagged the 2nd and 3rd spot on Google for this phrase. Not too bad for an overnight ranking on a pretty difficult subject to rank for. Are you beginning to understand the difference that a video marketing campaign can make when it comes to almost every aspect of having a successful blog or website?

Going about Video Marketing

Video Marketing is simple. Again, it's not a task, so don't make it be. Simply make a video that goes with your post, and upload that video to some video hosting websites such as Youtube. and Metacafe. Be sure to fill the title of the video, the description of the video, and the keywords of the video with a true and well informed description. Just like you optimize your blog posts, you need to also optimize your video descriptions. Other Video Marketing Tips 1) Place the URL of your website in the description of the video. 2) Place the URL of your website in the video itself. 3) Put your video as a video response to a related topic on Youtube. 4) At the end of your video, tell people to check out your site for more. Again, Video Marketing and marketing in general really isn't brain work. It's not rocket science it's simply a task that will help you in becoming successful online.

Increase earnings up to 25%

Thursday, September 18, 2008

Instead of Entrecard I want you to try a whole new and free way to get your blog out there. You have probably thought about it before, but you never really went along with it. The traffic I receive from these referral based websites have a bounce rate of less than 30%. Not to mention the fact that traffic from these websites not only convert into subscribers often, but they also have a great conversion rate when it comes to joining the programs you see on my sidebar. This, obviously, makes me some "cha-ching", if you know what I mean. So, what special form of marketing am I talking about? Hint:Video Blogging Tips.

Video Marketings Increases earnings 25%

Video Marketing is the number and I mean the number 1 way to advertise and promote your website for free. Take my Youtube Channel for instance. One of my major websites back in the day was, "Ultimate Perfect Pushup Review." It's not that great of a site, however, it sure did bring me in the money. $600 + dollars in 9 months using various programs. Not too shabby. My point. Half of these views were from Youtube and same with 25% of my net income. Just look at how many times this video of mine got viewed. 64,366 times, and you better bet that at least some of that converted into subscribers and some converted into some cash mone'.

Video Marketing - Hit the market while it's open

You can sit here and think about Video Marketing for the next 5 to 10 years. However, the longer you wait, the more videos there will be. The more videos there are, the harder it is to become popular. My suggestion is to hit the market right now while it's still open.

Video Blogging Tips - I am blessed

I got the name to a domain which will always have growing popularity. To top it off, there is no competition whatsoever to my name. If I make a video everyday for the next year, I predict that I will be getting over 1,000 unique views a day from video websites alone. Are you guys beginning to understand how powerful this can be? Jump in the market now and also check out this post on how to get on page one of Google overnight. Also check out how to get Diggs on Digg.

Rockin' a New Layout

Rockin' a New Layout
If you guys were wondering, "Hey. Why hasn't Taylor updated his site in the past two days?" Then let me tell you why. I had to create a new layout for Video Blogging Tips. I know, right? I just had a sweet layout so why would I have to create a new one? Let's just say that my original layout had some major flaws.

IE and Firefox Errors

What looked good in IE didn't look good in Firefox. What looked good in Firefox didn't look good in IE. You all know how it goes, you fix something for Firefox and then you always have to go and fix it back for IE. However, for some reason, I just couldn't get the look IE and Firefox to match up.

Cramming was a problem

With my old layout, there wasn't much room for the subscription area in the header. The "Subscribe in a Reader" area was snugged way too close to the "Enter your email address" area and I believe this may have caused some problems. Not to mention the well-known fact that my header was full of way too many goodies as it was any way.

Positives of the New Layout

Besides the fact that it now has a great advertising spot up on it, it also is easier to follow, less crowded, and overall it's more enjoyable. Now, it's not done quite yet. I think I could still make a few more tweaks. For instance, the banner could be a little improved and also, I am not completely confident in the left sidebar background color. We'll see how things go in the days to come.

Cheap Advertising with AdToll

Cheap Advertising for your Blog

Video Blogging Tips uses AdToll. For the longest time, I was contemplating on whether or not I should advertise my blog through any PPC or Banner advertising programs. I've always been a publisher, but I have never been an advertiser. AdWords is way too expensive and in my experience, if you want to get any results from AdWords, you have to pay about 20 cents or more per click. This price can obviously vary, but in general, the average person using Google AdWords will be paying about $20.00 to get 100 visitors to their site. If you're looking for some really really really cheap advertising for your blog, be sure to check out AdToll. The great thing about AdToll is the fact that you can actually set up a fixed amount of money you're willing to spend for a certain time period. When I signed up, I heard that AdToll was cheap, but I didn't know it was this cheap!

AdToll is 50% cheaper than AdWords

You guys need to check this out. If you're already advertising with AdWords you're wasting your money. Again, $20.00 for 100 visitors or 200 + visitors for the same price? What sounds better to you. Check out AdToll.

5 Reasons blogging is unhealthy

5 Reasons blogging is unhealthy

Whenever you have free time, do you seem to be sitting in front of a computer? Do you just love the idea of blogging, being your own boss, and making money online while you're doing so? I also am one who loves the idea. However, when is enough, enough?
Many of us find ourselves so addicted to blogging that we forget about the important things in life. Family, friends, other hobbies, and even work or school. With that being said, when do you know that you have you taken blogging too far?

Changes in Diet

Whether you are overweight, a little overweight, or even underweight, you should be well aware of your eating habits while you're blogging. Are you skipping meals? Are you eating junk food all of the time? Are you midnight snacking? Be sure to make a strict meal plan. That way, you're consistently eating 6 smaller meals a day with about 2 1/2 to 3 hours between each meal.

Changes in Fitness Activity

Have you lost days and days of exercise because of blogging? I know that you're trying to be the best and so am I. However, sometimes the best way to be good at something is to take a break from it. Step back and relax from time to time. Schedule a time for blogging without letting it interfere with other important things in your life.

Changes in Sleeping Habits

If you're staying up all night to blog, I understand your dedication. Normally, you should receive props for your hard work. However, it's proven that if you get more sleep, you'll be able to work more efficiently the next day. Again, if you want to be a successful blogger or successful with anything else in you life, it takes rest to do so. Going to sleep early and then waking up early, is better than going to sleep late and waking up late.

Change in work or school attendance

I know you love blogging and so do I. As much as I want blogging to be a full time job, I know that I, like many of you, are way short of the actual income to have it be. If you're skipping work or school to blog you need to stop and think about what you're doing. Is blogging something that you actually want to do for a living? If so, then that's fine. However, you still need a backup plan if blogging doesn't work out for you. Work and school are two great backup plans.

Relationship Problems

As much as you may not want to admit it, blogging too much has probably caused problems between you and your family, your friends, or even your girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, or wife. Unlike your blog, these loved ones of yours are irreplaceable. Take some time away from blogging. Remember the people you love and begin to interact with them once again. They're not going to be there forever.

Blogging is unhealthy if you let it be!

If you find yourself having any of the above problems, I would recommend taking a step back, thinking about what you're trying to accomplish and then setting a time in your day so you can try to accomplish it. That's what I do for Video Blogging Tips and it's been making things a lot easier. This way, you have the rest of your day to eat healthier, participate in physical activities, go to work or school, and appreciate those around you who love you the most.

Interview with Blog Pro - RockFuse

Another interview with another professional Blogger. Last time I was lucky to interview Blogger Noob. Now it's time to interview another pro. You've probably been to the site many times and you may even be a part time reader or even a full time subscriber. What site am I talking about? Rockfuse. That's right. I got the lucky chance to interview the owner of Rockfuse.
Today, Video Blogging Tips will be asking Nadeesha (the owner of Rockfuse) how he came up with the design he did, some questions about the traffic he receives, the subscribers, the amount of money he makes online, and finally, any final advice he may have to help us learn more about the actions we should take to become a successful Blogger. Rockfuse General Information Site Birthday - August 23rd, 2007 Site Page Rank - 3/10 Sites Alexa Rank - 81,386

Rockfuse Blog Design Questions

VideoBloggingTips
Your blogs design is truly unique to any other design that I have ever seen mainly because of your banner. With that being said, how did you come up with the Rockfuse design, and what programs did you use to create it?
RockFuse
Thank You. The design evolved from humble beginnings so to speak. I do professional web/graphic design so I guess this is one instance where it really came in handy. Basically, everything was done with Photoshop as I find it as the ultimate tool to produce web graphics and optimize them.
VideoBloggingTips
I love the design of Rockfuse and I wouldn't have it any other way. I believe that a lot of teens and young adults likely find your blog very appealing. However, the blog design you've chosen to use may serve as a distraction to the older generation of Bloggers. Are you trying to target a younger audience at Rockfuse?
RockFuse
Well, I am not trying to target an age group necessarily. But most of the people interested in my niche are young adults so I guess it serves them well. I heavily rely on Web 2.0 element in my designs and in the ROCKFUSE design, I wanted to do a flashy header - being as convincing as I could about the blog's authenticity. And I would understand if a couple of people who value simplicity get put off by the design. Then again, you can't satisfy everyone, can you?

SEO and Keyword Questions

VideoBloggingTips
What do you find to be the biggest player in ranking highly in terms of SERP's? Do you believe that content is king, or do you believe that links are king? Do you find them equally important?
RockFuse
Speaking from my experience, and strictly speaking only about ranking for a keyword, links are the most important thing. Why would I say that? Let's just say that there are "ways" you can make any poorly content-constructed page rank really well in SEs if you can get enough links back.
VideoBloggingTips
What keywords do you rank highly for in terms of being found the most for in Google SERP's? Do you have a sitewide keyword or keyword phrase you rank highly for, or do only get views from search engines deeper within your site?
RockFuse
I am ever-experimenting with SE rankings for my blogs. It's like playing chess. Since you asked, I will give you a couple of keywords that I rank high for. "Blog Headers" and "Free Blog Headers". I have been working on these for sometime. There are half a dozen of other keywords that I'm targeting, but I'd be more comfortable if I keep them to myself :)
VideoBloggingTips
According to Yahoo, your site only has about 630 inlinks. This is kind of a surprise to me. With your Alexa rating and page rank being as high as they are, I though that you would've had more inlinks. Why do you think that your inlinks are relatively low? Have you been trying to increase the number of links to your site, or do you simply let people link to you on their own?
RockFuse
Well, this is because some people link to me with the address http://www.rockfuse.com and some do with http://www.rockfuse.com/blog. If you check the inlinks for http://www.rockfuse.com/blog, you'll find that there are more than 4300 inlinks.

Traffic Questions

VideoBloggingTips
Rockfuse has a pretty high alexa rating. I mean, it's under 100,000 and that is pretty good. With that being said, how many unique page views and total impressions does your site have everyday?
RockFuse I now average with more than 300 uniques and 400-500 Page Views per day. Nevertheless, I should say that Alexa Rank is a bit out there. And if I'm correct, with my latest SEO efforts, it should double at the end of the next month.
VideoBloggingTips
Like I said before, your sites design is unique to any other blog on the web. Do you think that this plays a factor in the amount of returning visitors you have and maybe even the overall bounce rate of your site? PS: How many returning visitors do you have daily and what is your bounce rate?
RockFuse
Well, certainly. It must have helped in some way. But not in a very large way. I haven't seen my bounce rate go down because of a site redesign. My bounce rate is pretty high - 80%+ usually. And I get around 83% new visitors daily. Which means I have 17% of returning visitors. My main objective is to convert new visitors into subscribers so I'm pretty happy with just 17% of 300.

Money Making Questions

VideoBloggingTips
How much money do you make online each month and where does the majority of this income come from? Paid Plugs, paid reviews, private sponsorships, or affiliate programs?
Rockfuse
Well, from ROCKFUSE only, it's usually about $300-$500 per month. Majority of these earnings come from affiliate programs. As a policy, I do not promote a product as an affiliate if I haven't tried it myself. And I'm surprised at the number of bloggers who do not use affiliate programs to make money from their blogs effectively. Of course, my favorite affiliate network is Pepperjam.
VideoBloggingTips
Is their a program in particular that you have great success with when it comes to consistently and successfully bringing in a consistent income?
RockFuse
As I said, it's Pepperjam from affiliate networks. And in my niche blogs, AdSense does a pretty good job too.

Any Advice?

VideoBloggingTips
Do you have anything else that you would like to add to this interview when it comes to people who are pursuing a blogging dream? What do you think is the number one thing that professional blog dreamers can do to be successful?
RockFuse
If you have already started a blog, then the two most important things I can tell you are - 1. Never give up! As a great man once quoted "Brick walls are there to keep other people out. The people who do not want the success that you yearn for". 2. Treat your readers like your own family. Build relationships and engage with them. Overtime, you will not regret that. If you are going to start a blog, the two most important things I can tell you are - 1. There's no money in the Make Money Online niche. The market is really really competitive that it's really hard to make a buck for the beginner. 2. Don't blog about something unless you are passionate about it. If you can't find something that you're passionate about, blog about your life. You can make money, blogging from any niche that you desire, as long as you enjoy it.

Banned from AdSense. Money alternatives.

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

What would you do if the program that makes you the most money online died? Even worse, maybe you've been banned. Where would you go elsewhere to make up for the lost revenue? You'll definitely need to think up of some secondary alternatives to AdSense.
  • I know that beginning Bloggers would simply give up altogether if they got banned from AdSense.
  • For Middle Class Bloggers, some would give up and some would think of another way.
  • High class Bloggers on the other hand would stick to doing what they do best. Providing content while thinking of another way to pick up their lost AdSense revenue elsewhere.

AdSense account banned. Money alternates?

If AdSense were to die or you were to get banned, what would be your backup plan? What would happen next? Would you quit Blogging altogether, or would you think of another way to make some money online? The reason I bring this up is simply because many of us don't have an answer. If you pray to God every night and your prayers always sound something like, "I pray I don't get banned from AdSense," then you're in a load of trouble.

Make money with affiliate program.

Another great way to make money online without common forms of advertising is via referral based programs. These programs can usually be found in the sidebar of a website. Just look at my top sidebar. If people join via my referral link, I make a certain amount of money. The amount of money can differ for each program. Here is how the 6 referral - affiliate programs that I use work.
Banned from AdSense. Money alternatives.

Private Advertising for AdSense Alternative

If AdSense were to die, another great thing you could probably do not only for yourself, but also your readers, is to start selling private advertising spots on your Blog. That's a major thing for me here at Video Blogging Tips. Private advertising is simple and only really requires a PayPal account. You may even soon find that private advertising is actually more professional, effective, and rewarding then AdSense. Not to mention the fact that you get to place the asking price. To top it off, you never have to worry about getting banned from AdSense again.

If AdSense were to die tomorrow...

If AdSense were to die tomorrow, would you have a backup plan? Think about it. AdSense could randomly ban you tomorrow. To be a successful Blogger, you need many different revenue streams. To be a successful Blogger, you must have money making alternatives. Finally, if you found this post interesting, be sure to check out how you can make some quick cash online.
