American Idol is just about to begin this Wednesday night. Well, I am on the West Coast, so maybe that is just how it is here for me.
But I think I know who we're all cheering for - Danny Gokey. This guy is amazing.
His wife passed away 4 weeks before his first audtion - my prayers go out to Danny. I mainly just wanted to take my time to say... Danny man! You rock bro! Keep up the great work. Your wife Sophia Gokey is proud of you!
How did Danny Gokey's wife die?
I actually don't know the answer to this question. But may she rest in peace and may Danny continue to do well in his quest of becoming the next American Idol.
PS: Danny, you nailed the "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal performance. Keep up the great work in Hollywood!

Danny has been my favorite from the beginning. He is awesome! He's got the look, the voice, the personality...
I think he's the best performer of American Idol seson 8. His version of Hero by Mariah Carey blew me away. I admire him and like what paula said,Danny Gokey is ready to record songs.
