To some extent, whey protein is bad for you. However, it's not bad due to some weird side-effect that one may assume that whey causes. (I've heard people worried that whey may cause acne and even cancer. Nothing has been proven.)
Whey protein is only bad for you when you have too much of it. (So you really have nothing to worry about unless you break this rule)
Is too much protein intake bad?
Let's put it this way; Too much of anything is not good for you. Even too much water can be deadly. In short, side effects of whey protein include, but are not limited to
- Weight Gain
- + Kidney Stones have been linked.
