John Madden is a Legend!
Only hours after learning of John Madden's retirement, we have now learned that Cris Collinsworth will be his replacement in announcing NBC's Sunday night NFL football games. This replacement is not a rumor and holds true as a statement was released by Ebersol, the chairman of NBC Sports earlier today.

This completely sucks! Collinsworth may be a great guy, but I can't stand his speech. If you have never heard Collinsworth announce, put Madden NFL Football 2009 into your gaming console. Collinsworth is the dude that speaks extremely slow and drags out everything that he says.
It's so annoying. Collinsworth honestly needs to learn to just say what he needs to say and then be done with it. I seriously can't believe NBC couldn't find a better John Madden replacement. Almost anybody would've been better for the job. Honestly.
Well, it is what it is I guess. I just had to get that out. Collinsworth replaces Madden for the up and coming football season. What a disappointment.
