3 officers were killed this morning in a standoff at Stanton Heights in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Richard Poplawski, a man in his mid twenties, is the one to blame for the Grand Theft Auto video game like shooting spree.
Officers first responded to a domestic call around 8:00 AM this morning. When they arrived, they found Poplawski armed, firing, and equiped with a bullet-proof vest. He11 broke loose until around 11:00 AM when Poplaski finally surrendered after being shot in the leg and chest.
The officers names have not yet been released, but may our hearts and prayers go out to them and their families around them.

Those men on duty are simply heroes who put their lives on the line everyday to protect our freedoms. It's simply amazes me that some people are so crazy that they'd go out and do things like this. And, in any case, this is what video games are for... Taking your anger out on something other than real people. This is just sad.
It's too bad that the SWAT team wasn't allowed to simply end him... right then and there
Now he's going to end up wasting millions of tax payer dollars in his court procedings... it's a shame scum like him are allowed to live after have ended the lives of 3 officers...

This is why America should limit the use of video games by Children, this person grew up playing counterstrike, quake and so on. This is not about guns, this person did not legally get his guns, guns are a right that's in the constitution. This is just one crazy gamer who thought shooting people was so normal cause that's what he does in those crazy games.

No video game, movie, or music can induce such behavior in someone who hasn't already struggled with rage problems. My only fear for this guy and his family are people that don't understand that going on a rampage is not something a normal person would have done in any instance under normal circumstances. I can only hope that one day people will eventually grow more intelligent and more aware, becoming more apt to understanding problems with our fellow neighbors instead of ridiculing people with mental illnesses.

You people are exactly the reason minds are closed in America and in turn the reason our healthcare system is dilapidated and thus not able to provide suitable care for someone with such mental ailments.
