Boston Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy will be taking some time off as he deserves the much needed time to recover from last year's cancer surgery.
Remy was expected to be back sooner but was unable to return due to an "infection and subsequent cases of pneumonia," (SoxBlog).
It's definitely important for Jerrry to put full force into getting better before anything else... His health is what is most important.
Jerry also notes that he wants people to be aware of the dangers of smoking. Obviously, smoking can cause more then mouth cancer.... Cough Cough... Camel....
We wish Jerry a speedy recovery.
