It turns out that Zicam may cause a loss of smell amongst those who use the product, says US regulators. According to Bloomberg, the FDA has received over 130 reports of people losing their ability to smell after using the Zicam products. Yes. This includes nasal spray and swabs.
Looks like we'll all be back to taking echinacea.
