ESPN reporter, Erin Andrews has become a victim of a "peephole recording" while in her hotel room. (By the way, Erin Andrews Video Peep downloads usually contain viruses.) Matters become even worse, as hundreds of torrents are sprouting from users across the world. UPDATE: NY Post Erin Andrews Photos appear in the popular paper. According to sources, the extremely low quality video shows Erin Andrews being recorded through an extremely small peephole. Sources say that she was straightening or curling her hair as the video was recorded.
This is an extreme violation of privacy, but I can't say that I am surpised that something like this happened. ESPN is doing their best to keep the situation under wraps. The first scum site that hosted the video got a very threatening letter from ESPN. The site has since then, taken down the video.
However, Google cached the site, or kept a copy of the page, which was still accessible by anyone who was willing to look for it. That's when the video was copied, made into a torrent, and sent to hundreds of thousands of searchers.
It's really sad that this is what the world is coming to. At least for Erin Andrews, the video is low quality. Still embarrassing and an invasion of privacy, but I am sure that things could have been worse. Far worse. The torrent is still all over the web. I'm hoping that it will disappear soon, but it probably never will.
