The Washington Post is reporting that choreography, Merce Cunningham has died at the age of 90. According the source, a cause of death has not been reported.
If you're unfamiliar with Merce Cunningham, he was a very famous choreographer. Born back in 1919, Cunningham made important discoveries that changed the face of film making and choreography forever - Washington Post.
The LA Times reports, "Merce Cunningham, arguably the greatest, most pioneering and widely influential contemporary choreographer of the past half-century, has died."
Although I am unfamiliar with his work, Merce Cunningham seems to be a brilliant man. His work has definitely touched millions. Merce Cunningham's death has saddened millions, but he will forever be remembered.
