What is the Rorschach Blot Test? I was looking on Yahoo to find out more. According to the source, the test which is also called an inkblot test is seen on the TV Show "Law and Order." The test is administered to see the state of mind of the person who is taking it. (I might add that there is also an episode of Beavis and Butthead where this is performed).
It's really pretty simple. According to Yahoo Buzz, a series of ink blogs are first shown to the subject. The subject is then asked to explain what they see. A total of 5 black and white blots, two black, two white, two red, and 3 rainbow blots are shown. There are a total of 100 variable that bring a conclusion to the test, to truly see the subjects state of mind.
Most recently the Rorschach Blot Test has become quite a controversy, as the test has become publically available, allowing patients the ability to learn how to "game the system." Even with that said, the Buzz reports that some individuals never actually believed in the test's truth anyway, and to them, it really doesn't make a difference. More information about this can be seen over at Wikipedia, where it's been talked about a great deal.
