I was just about to head off to lunch until I ran into this post about a Walmart DVD recall due to a possible fire hazard. You'll definitely want to read this.
Durban's DVD players seem to be causing the fires. Even worse, these DVD palyers were selling for $29.00, which means that a load of people jumped on teh great deal. According to Slashgear.com, Walmart will be recalling 1.5 million DVD players. Ouch! That's a dent.
Slashgear noted that there has been around 12 reported incidents of an "overheatings" which caused damages to people's items. If you have this kind of DVD player, you'll definitely want to take it back to your local Walmart.
