Now, I realize that the name, Didley Squat, isn't exactly the hippest name in the world. However, I've been blogging for almost two years now, and I still have never owned an aged-domain-name.
Since I've been making some pretty good money this year, I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and purchase one.
I'll be using Didley Squat for a number of different purposes... It will have no set niche. However, news will be talked about the most.
As you may or may not already know, Google generally likes older domain names, for they're more trustworthy. I'm hoping that because Didley Squat is older, dated back to 2002, that I will be ranking higher for some of my articles.
I did notice that Didley Squat was indexed almost immediately, prior to me writing any articles, so this is definitely good news already.
Right now, I have one written article on the site called, "Conan O'brien Slips and Falls," however, it has not yet been indexed.
We'll see how things go in the coming weeks. :)
