I'm going to cut straight to the chase.... What is Hurricane Jimena's projected path? Hurricane Jimena is set to hit Mexico on the late day of August 1st, 2009, or the early morning of August 2nd, 2009.
Currently, the storm's strength is measured at a Category 4 level. Remember, Hurricane Katrina was a Category 3, so definitely be prepared for this one, folks, because winds are supposed to get up to 145 miles per hour.
As always, evacuations of resorts, hotels, and homes are already taking place. The Weather Channel states that you should always be safe, and be prepared. Hurricane Jimena will be "extremely dangerous," so be safe, and exercise extreme caution!
Another storm going on is Tropical Storm Erika, which is set to hit Florida.
