Many blogs and news sources have been creating posts saying that the Montgomery Animal Shelter will be closing. However, according to the very reliable About.com, these are only rumors.
About.com created their posts stating that the Montgomery Animal Shelter in Montgomery Township, NJ, the three animal shelters run by the SPCA in Montgomery County, PA, and the Montgomery County shelter in Clarksville, TN, and finally the same-named shelter in Conroe Texas, are NOT closing.
The news of these places closing have been spread via Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and every other Social Network in between. However, it's complete bogus, so don't listen to the garbage that you hear.
