This is a very sad story for me to talk about - As you all know, the floods in the south east have been really bad. Seydi Burciaga, a mother of two, and a wife, recently died after drowning in the flooded streets.

Burciaga, who made a police call to 911, told the operator that her car was flipping up-side-down. She told the operator that she was going to die.
The entire phone call is listed on NY Daily News, but it's really difficult to read.
Officers were sent to her location, only to find that it was too late. Seydi Burciaga had drowned.
In a recent interview, her widowed husband stated that he was destroyed. I can't even come to imagine what he is going through. My prayers are sent out to their family.
Due to all of the damages that the city is taking place, Governor Sonny Perdue has asked President Obama to declare a state of emergency across the sate of Georgia. It's estimated that damages are now up to $250 million dollars.
