The Toyota Camry, along with other Toyota and Lexus branded cars have been recalled. 3.8 million cars in all, due to the chance that the cars could have "deadly floor mats."
According to CNN, the company released a statement that said that not removing the floor mats could result in the accelerator pedal being forced down, which could lead to a major car accident.
"A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash, serious injury or death." - Toyota.
