The recall took place because of the amount of time that the kids spend in front of the tv screen watching the show is just too high of an amount to be considered healthy. According to Business Pundit, the pressure against Disney to recall the product was made after someone turned in a complaint to the FTC.

Disney is no longer claiming that the DVD's are educational, and full refunds of $15.99, for the Baby Einstein DVD are now optional, because of the recall.

Here's a little bit from the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood, and what they had to say regarding the issue: "As a result of our 2006 Federal Trade Commission complaint, Disney stopped claiming that Baby Einstein videos were educational for infants, but the company made no move to compensate parents who purchased them. We thought parents deserved better. So, with help from CCFC members like you, we kept the pressure on until Disney agreed to reimburse Baby Einstein customers. "

It should be interesting to see how much money this single complaint, which got this product recalled, will cost Disney. But even more interesting, it should be the parents choice to how much and what TV shows their children get to watch.

People know that when they purchased this DVD, how long it was going to be. Why should they get their money back, when they knew what it was about?

As these DVD's may not be "safe" for children, why couldn't their parents just limit the amount of time they spend, in front of the screen?

I don't know the whole story behind the issue, and I'm sure it's not all about the time length of the DVD, rather the content placed upon it, but I really don't believe a full recall is necessary.

How to get Baby Einstein Refund...

If you'd like to get a Baby Einstein refund, be sure to take your DVD to Walmart, and ask for Customer Service. Tell them that there was a recall on the Baby Einstein DVD's and ask for the $15.99 refund.

If you're unfamiliar with this weird case, Desiree Jennings, a cheerleader for the Washington Redskins, could walk like anybody else. However, 10 days after taking a flu shot, she developed Dystonia disorder, making it impossible to walk forward correctly.

Information on the Inquisitr states that she can run straight, and walk backwards just fine. But any other movements this girl tries are definitely difficult.

I decided to go ahead and watch a video to develop my thoughts, and here's what I have concluded: Either Desiree Jennings is an extremely good actress, or she actually does have this disorder.

The video I saw is completely fluid. If this was in fact a hoax, the girl did a really good job in walking in an extremely awkward fashion.

I have to say this: I just received the nasal yesterday, and today, I am aching, and feel like complete garbage. I have a headache, and a sore throat, so hopefully it's nothing serious... but at this point, I may as well have the flu. I really don't recommend the shot / nasal to anyone. Hopefully, I am better by tomorrow.

More is definitely to come regarding this case, but personally, I don't think it's a hoax. Nobody can act this well without special effects, and in the videos posted online, there are definitely no special effects being used.

So my question to you is, do you believe this is all a hoax, fraud, and scheme to get attention? I've been watching the news all night and not once was this case mentioned.

If it were true, I would think that people would be covering this story like crazy. But then again, maybe the case just hasn't been confirmed. Either way, it's creepy to think that something this extreme may possibly happen, if something goes unnplanned.

From what I am being told, Cami Parker became popular after appearing on the Howard Stern Show. If you look at the results that appear on Google, a Facebook, and a Myspace appear. However, they don't seem to be Parkers.

I looked around a little more to try to find more information about this girl, but I am only being told that she appeared on the Howard Stern Show. Also, something about Bunny Ranch has been stated.

They also mentioned that Cami Parker, again a photo of her can be seen here, would like to be "a wife and a mom." She also seems to be working on writing some sort of novel, but it was unsaid to what that novel is about.

After the story, CNN reported on some harsh statistics, which stated that Female DUI arrests were up 4.8% in 2008, and between 2004 - 2008, they went up 17.7%.

And now, others are trying to raise awareness as well. Commercials, ads, and sadly, this unnamed daddy from an unknown location, will also be attempting to raise awareness in his little girl's name, to prevent others also being tragically killed.

It's so sad to see and hear about things like this happening. To know that maybe, if something went slightly different that day, an accident could've been prevented.

Everyone else who was in that car accident survived that day. Why? Why this single daddy's little girl? Why her? Why was she killed in this apparent DUI wreck?

Survivors of the wreckage were also interviewed. They stated things along the lines of, "Don't let drunk drivers drive. Take the keys! Call for help! But don't let them drive!"

It must've been ridiculously scary for those kids who were in that car. My prayers go out to all those who were involved. Hopefully, some form of punishment will be put out towards the driver obtained the apparent DUI. Still, this will not ease the pain of the daddy, who tragically lost his little girl, when she was killed in this tragic accident.

(By the way, the DUI is apparent because it's currently not confirmed that the individual driving was in fact drinking.)

Michael Brewer - Boy who was Burned!

All of this, because of some issue which involved a video game and a bicycle.

Currently, Brewer is in intensive care. He's in critical condition.

Daniel Jarvis, sisters of one of the brothers who committed the crime, couldn't believe what she heard. She continued to say that, "kids that they’re (her brothers) hanging out with" caused them to perform this act of violence. “I know my brothers didn’t intentionally try to hurt anyone."

HELLO - Does someone need to spell it out for you, Daniel? You're 19-years-old... Are you stupid? Unless you're brother is a complete idiot, I am pretty sure that he knows that bullies + fire + victim = pain. It's not like these boys grabbed a water balloon and started hucking it at this Michael Brewer kid. Give me a break.

Again, EARTH TO THE IDIOTS! These kids knew what they were doing. They poured rubbing alcohol on Brewer. They are bullies... No! They're murderers. Or at least, they attempted to murder. This boy had no way of protecting himself. They knew what they were doing, period!

Luckily enough, Brewer was able to escape these bullies, and jump in an apartment pool. Still, the boy was burned severely. My prayers go out for his recovery.

So at first, the threats were verbal, and now they're via the internet and Facebook. This is a very interesting case. It turns out, Jackson just wasn't having enough fun using methods of traditional abuse.

But when she sent Hannah a poke or poking on Facebook, Hannah screen shot her computer, and called the police. Jackson was then arrested.

For her little poking incident, Jackson could face up to a year in jail, along with a $2,500 fine, under acts of performing a call a misdemeanor for breaking court rules of a restraining order in which Hannah had against her.

Before all he-double-hockey-sticks went down, Leona stated, “I am so glad at the turnout. It’s amazing. I can’t believe people are coming to support and I am just very thankful.”

After a man waited in line 90 minutes to meet Lewis, he greeted her with a punch in the face. "It's nice to meet you too..." Currently, reasons for his actions are unknown. According to the BBC, Leona left the room with her hand covering her eye. Security then jumped the man, who was laughing at the whole ordeal.

Bruce Wasserstein's networth is estimated to be worth around $2 billion dollars. No reports of how he died, or why he died have been released. It's unknown to whether or not his death was natually caused. Wasserstein would've turned 62 in December.

What it sounds like; A lot of people seem to be surprised by his death, but nothing unnatural has been reported. I'm sure that an autopsy will be performed, and more information about his death will be found within the next week. May he rest in peace.

Like any other 6th grader, Ethan Travis is likely a student that's oblivious to the world of violence. However, 5 other 6th grade students obviously were not. According to Associated Content, 5 6th grade students planned to jump Ethan Travis, and take his life, using razor blades as weapons.

The reason: Travis was dating one of the boys' ex-girlfriends. You're probably thinking, "You've got to be kidding me," but I am dead serious!

The boys were caught when Travis began to hear rumors of the 'jumping.' Currently, the 5 boys have been suspended from school. They're also charged with possession of a deadly weapon... And that is it. What about the plot to kill? No charges there?

Ethan Travis is scared to return to school. I don't blame him. His parents are upset about the punishment the boys are receiving, but are glad to see their own boy is okay. Mind you, tihs all took place at an elementary school. Completely crazy, right?

In her essay, Klebold discusses the fact that she didn't know that her son was depressed. She didn't know he was planning the spree, and to me, it sounds like she didn't even know her son that well. Klebold also stated, "Dylan changed everything I believed about myself, about God, about family, and about love."

Some individuals reacted to her work positively. One individual stated, "I felt terrible for her all these years but I didn't know anything about her. It must have been really hard for her coming out and saying the things she said. I really admire her."

But others, including Brian Rohrbough, who's son Daniel, who died in the shooting, didn't agree with some of Susan Klebold's essay saying, "There seems to be some excuse making that this was a tragedy caused by suicide. Good News In - Neil Buethe, US Soccer Federation Spokesman, states that Davies is in "stable condition," and that his injures are "not life threatening."

According to WLBT, the jury asked the judge if they could send Carla Hughes to the stand, but the judge denied that request. If Hughes is found guilty, she could face life in prison, or she could face the death penalty.

Again, strong arguments are currently supporting both sides of the argument. In the end, it will be the jury who decides the fate of Carla Hughes.

Things get worse for Erica Wang, as she was Todd's personal assistant, but obviously now, she won't be. Wang no longer having a job, is now reportedly being thrown out by English, who wants her out of their Chelsea apartment as soon as possible.

It's said that workers "immediately" attended to the runner after his collapse. However, they were not able to revive him.

Lee Corrigan - Orgaziner of the event told the Boston Sun, "We are heartbroken about it, and it puts a sad note on an otherwise great day for Baltimore." This is very sad news indeed.

I am curious to find out what the autopsy will show. If it states that this Boston Marathon runner's death was from some sort of "being pushed too far" cause, I'll be thinking the next time before I push myself to the limit, during my workouts.

If you haven't been following the case, Jaclyn Torrealba was seen on October 11th at around 2:00 in the morning at Space Night Club. Yes. That would mean just last night. Today, her body was found.

Police are currently looking into Jaclyn's death. Along with that, they're also investigating the case, and questioning the male suspect.

Crimes like this really are sickening. I am saddened by Torrealba's case, as I am by many others. Preventing these types of crimes are possible, however. Remember to stick in large groups. Always carry a cellphone, and if possible, be inside before nightfall.
