Chile Earthquake Magnitude 8.8 - I just wrote my final post for the day over at my new Wordpress blog. It's way better than this POS blog, and the post actually has great content. I definitely recommend giving it a look see.

Everyone is looking for the Chile Earthquake aftermath photos. I would recommend checking out CNN or Fox news, for updated photos. My pics source still hasn't gotten any pics for me to put up.

Many others continue to look for the video footage of the quake, along with tsunami footage in Hawaii. For this, I recommend checking out Youtube, most definitely.

My prayers go out to everyone involved in the earthquake. These tragedies are always sad, and unexpected.

Although there isn't a Tsunami WARNING Hawaii Map that I am sure of, news stations report that the more south you are, the sooner the tsunami could hit.

Many others continue to look for video footage of the tsunami, but so far, there have only been waves under a few feet.

Many other sources are stating that the tsunami has already hit, and that most waves are under a few feet high. So far, there isn't any cause for concern.

Reports still recommend that you stay on high grounds, and away from the ocean.

Everyone wants to know, HAS THE TSUNAMI HIT HAWAII?

Many others are looking for web cams and video footage of the tsunami. Trust me, this is a waste of time. You will not see anything...

Umm. Well, yes. But the wave was so small that nothing really happened.

That's why I am surprised that this story is getting a load of media attention. Let's focus on the 8.8 quake, not the 3-foot wave.

The best video footage I have found for live coverage of the Hawaii Tsunami is by simply tuning in to Fox or CNN.

Many online Hawaii web cams suck, or aren't a consistent stream. Your best bet is to simply turn on your TV and stay tuned in.

The Hilo Hawaii Web Cam can be seen by checking out http://www.tsunami.org/hilobaycam.html.

There's really not much to see, folks. So don't get your hopes to high. For the best video footage, I would just stay tuned to Youtube.

Aaron Ramsey's injury seems to be severe, as tackler Ryan Shawcross left the scene in tears. Still, ESPN didn't seem to report the extent of the injury. UPDATE! I noticed on Google Trends that people are or seem to be convinced that AR has a broken leg. I can't confirm this information.

Video Footage of the injury can likely be seen on Youtube.

ABreakingNews stated that Ramsey had to be taken off on a stretcher, stating that his injury was "horrific." Still, no other information is available.

My prayers go out to Aaron Ramsey and his family and friends.

Currently, there isn't really much video footage to see. I have heard that there has only been a two-foot wave thus far. BIG DEAL...

Michael Blosil, the 18-year-old son of Marie Osmond, has committed suicide, in Los Angeles. According to the LA Times, Blosil "jumped to his death" from his downtown apartment building. The incident took place on Friday night.

According to ETOnline, Blosil left a note behind.

Marie Osmond had this to say regarding the incident, "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time,"

I am sorry for your loss.

Interesting Note: The suicide of Michael Blosil is actually currently getting more searchers than the earthquake / tsunami news today.

A Tsunami will be hitting Hawaii around 11:18 AM local time.

Currently, we do not know how large the tsunami will be, so be prepared. Hawaii Evacuation Zones have been set.

Video Footage of the tsunami will likely be posted on Youtube after it hits.

My prayers go out to everyone involved.

Hawaii Evacuation Zones - They're in high discussion as Hawaii is said to be the most expected place to get hit by a tsunami, out of all the other locations listed.

TechBanyan - "Sirens have now run through out Hawaii to warn people who are living or visiting that a tsunami is about to hit soon. 11:19am is the official time that has been given for the first impact. People are being advised to find higher ground and get as far away from the coastal areas as possible."

Be ready, and watch the news. Evacuation Zones have been set up, so get to one as soon as possible!

Tsunami WARNING In Hawaii!!!!!

BREAKING - An 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit Chile, and has triggered a chain reaction of tsunami warnings for areas around the world. Video footage of the quake will likely be posted on Youtube soon enough, so stay tuned for that.

I just got back from Starbucks to find that the Top 40 Search Trends all relate to the earthquake. An 8.8 magnitude is massive. According to many news sources, around 140 people have died. However, I'm not sure of the accuracy of this number.

From Gather - "The tsunami warning for Hawaii in Hawaii news has everyone in the Oahu tsunami zone evacuating. Meanwhile, Noozhawk reports the California tsunami warning 2010 was issued on 8:47 AM Saturday. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a widespread advisory for the Pacific coast going from the California-Mexico border to Alaska."

It should be interesting to see how everything plays out. My prayers go out to everyone involved.

Chelsea King - A 17-year-old girl from Poway, California went missing after going on a run, after school. According to Zimbia, she was running near her home when she disappeared. (Picture: ZIMBIO)

Currently, around 160 officers are looking for the missing girl. If you have any information, please contact the police department.

From Zimbio: "King is apparently a long-distance runner and frequently runs in rural areas. She parked her car at the Rancho Bernardo Community Center and never returned to her lock car, authorities said. A search went on overnight, and continues today."

The USA team ended up scoring 6 goals on 13 shots in the opening period. Not too shabby.

Ex-NBA player, Alvin Robertson has been arrested and accused of human trafficking. USA Today stated that the case involved children.

If you're unfamiliar with the AR, he played for the San Antonio Spurs for 10 seasons.

"Authorities allege that the 47-year-old was part of a ring that kidnapped a 14-year-old girl from San Antonio, forced her to have *** with clients and to dance in a Corpus Christi, Texas, **** club last year," stated USA Today.

Luckily, the girl managed to escape and get hold of a police officer. Overall, 7 people of the case have been charged, including Alvin Robertson's girlfriend.

Everyone is looking for the Video Footage of the Killer Whale who kills trainer Dawn Brancheau. According to the Examiner, this video footage is not yet available.

"Although footage of the Wednesday, Feb. 24 whale attack that killed a 40-year-old trainer at SeaWorld Orlando hasn't emerged, hundreds of thousands viewers are flocking to YouTube in search of the clip and to watch dozens of whale videos."

I know that we're all disappointed in the fact that there probably never will be a video, but move on. For me, the description of the event was enough to understand what had happened, without ever having to actually see it happen.

The Incident is Tragic

The incident is extremely tragic, but I have to say that I am not surprised that it happened. People who mess with dangerous animals, whether they're trained or untrained, are bound to run into problems from time to time. Obviously, these problems are life-threatening. May Dawn Brancheau rest in peace.

Obama's new logo for the Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency is causing major commotion. According to Before It's News, the logo is a mixture of Obama's cmpaign logo, and the Islamic crescent.

I have heard that President Obama won't stand up for the Pledge Of Allegiance. Really? Is this true? Why are we turning America into something it's not? At least, why are we trying to.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the idea of the Islamic crescent being a part of the Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency, but I really think not. Is it really necessary, or are we simply trying to cause an uproar? What do you think?

I just got the sad news of Mosi Tatupu's death.

If you're unfamiliar with Tatupu, he was a USC running back back in the 1970's. According to LA Times Blog, Mosi lead the Trojans to a championship back in 1974. Soon after, he was drafted to the New England Patriots.

LA Times reported his death February 24th, 2010. They say that the running back died in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The cause of death has not been reported.

Mosi Tatupu was only 54-years-old.

Opinion - My prayers go out to the Tatupu family. To me, news like this is pretty shocking.

To think that someone who used to be extremely fit, as a college and NFL football player, has died so young, it's extremely tragic. I don't understand why football players are dieing at such a young age. Could it be because of the hard contact sport?

There was a shooting at Luke AFB today. Anyone have video footage? According to Despardes, officials have confirmed that at least one man had died, and another man was injured.

Captain Jerry Gonzalez was quoted following the incident. “The car went through the entrance without stopping as required and security forces then used a vehicle to set up a roadblock on a bridge leading to the operational side of the base, near Glendale.”

Although Despardes didn't have much information, I am assuming that a car blew through the Luke AFB security. Feel free to inform me if you have any further information.

Despardes also noted, "The (now) dead person was riding a stolen car when he was killed and another was injured when they didn’t stop at security check point in Luke Air Force Base which is located in Arizona."

Apparently, the car was stolen, and the individuals driving the car were fleeing from police.

Breaking News - KY Post reports that Jordan van der Shoot has made a confession, stating that he dumped Natalie Holloway's body into an Aruban Marsh.

According to KY Post, there is video footage of the confession, as it aired on German Television, in an interview. If anyone knows where this video is, feel free to hook us up with a link in the comments section below.

KY Post stated, "Van der Sloot was one of the last people to see Holloway and had made an earlier confession saying he dumped the body at sea."

Closure:

I can't believe what some people will do these days. Although the confession is definite closure for Natalie Holloway's family, this is, and always will be, extremely sad.

Further Information

If you're unfamiliar with the Natalie Holloway case, it dates back to 2005, when she disappeared. She went to Mountain Brook High School. Her body still has never been found.

Jayson Williams sentencing was today. I've been looking for news media or video footage of the sentencing, but I'm not sure whether or not it's available.

How Long Will Jayson Williams Be In Prison?

According to the Miami Herald, he will serve 5 years in prison. This time can be cut down to 18 months if he behaves and shows improvement.

What Did J.W. Do?

He shot and killed "Gus" Christofi on February 14th, 2002. Christofi was a limousine driver.

"There's not a day that I wake up and not feel sorry for what I did to Mr. Christofi," Williams said to the Christofi family.

Jayson Williams had a pretty good apology, but no apology will ever make up for what he has done. As he said, "I know there's nothing I can do to bring Mr. Christofi back." What else was he supposed to say?

Williams seemed to be sincere in his apology, but without seeing his emotions, it's difficult to tell.

A Femal NHRA fan was killed by a tire, when a dragster went out of control. The car, which was being driven by Antron Brown. He lost control of the vehicle when the rear tire came off.

According to OnlyKent, the race was continued, even after the lady was killed. Really? Yep. What do you guys think? Pretty messed up, right?

This is all extremely upsetting. Although the name of the woman has not yet been released, I couldn't imagine what her family and friends are going through.

I mean, you're going to a drag event, and you don't see any danger in that. Then, a freak accident happens; Wrong place and wrong time.

From this, my hope is that the NHRA will look further into investigating this incident.

Okay - So Gloria Allred is the attorney of Veronica Siwik-Daniels, also known as Joslyn James, who was one of Tiger's alleged mistresses.

I didn't see the press conference, but after reading the LA Times, I got a glimpse of what the whole deal was about...

"I just watched Tiger Woods' apology on television, and he said that many people believed in him. He also said he wanted to make amends. He did not apologize by name to my client, Veronica, and I ask, why no apology?"

Why Should Tiger Apologize To A Mistress?

Veronica, along with the other mistresses new EXACTLY what they were getting themselves into. This whole scandal is really a complete JOKE. It's FULL of COMMON SENSE.

Really, folks. It does NOT take a genius to figure out what will happen if you sleep with a married celeb / athlete. Sometimes you get caught, and sometimes you don't. Tiger got caught!

Everyone is looking for Tiger Woods Apology Video Footage.

You can watch it if you'd like, but to be completely honest, it's nothing too special. Like I said in my previous posts, Tiger was going to simply come out and apologize and nothing more. That's basically what he did.

He went on a few rants here and there about the Paparazzi, and how they need to stay away from his family. Tiger's actions should NOT result in the entire family being stocked 24-7.

Aside from that, Woods discussed how his actions were wrong, and how he has no right to live above anyone else, just because he's a professional athlete. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

To be totally honest, the apology press conference video is actually extremely boring, and I don't really recommend watching, unless you want to be bored to death.

If you haven't seen it already, TW basically appologizes to a small audience. Most people there were his friends, although some press was allowed.

As I have been saying, this was NOT A BIG DEAL. All that TW said was standard blahblahblah garbage. I predicted what he was going to say... Really. I think everyone did.

Since 8:00 AM this morning, I have been looking for Tiger Woods Statement and Video Footage from his most recent press conference.

Finally, I found some great information, via Vancouver Sun. The following quotes come from them, from Tiger.

I've been looking for more official information since I first reported the NIU Shooting 2010.

I ran across an article at CBS News, which had basically the same information that other articles had.

According to the article, one person was injured in the shooting, and one person was taken into custody. The incident took place near campus residence hall.

Witness Information REAL UPDATE!

Daniela Bedolla - 22-year-old Student - She her a gunshot while she was in her dorm room. She noted that it "was really loud."

Other Info

Police still believe the incident took place between only the two invidiuals who were involved. Still, no other information such as names, or victim's condition have been released.

What Time Is Tiger Woods Press Conference? - As I mentioned the other day, T.W.'s P.C. is today (Friday) at around 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

It should be extremely interesting to see what Woods will discuss in his conference. I hope video footage media will be available for viewing on Youtube. The press seems to be extremely pumped, but will have to hold their questions, as I have heard from a friend that Tiger will not be answering any questions. BOOO Boring...

Today (2 / 19 / 2010) - A NIU Shooting has wounded one unnamed student. The school was on lockdown for quite some time, but soon after the shooting, the suspect was taken into custody.

According to officials, the shooting took place in a residence hall, and was only an issue involving the two individuals involved - the suspect and the victim.

This information has all been obtained from the Washington Post. I've been looking for more information in an attempt to find the names of those involved, but I haven't been able to find this information yet.

Northern Illinois Shooting 2010

This was the first shooting since the one that took place back in 2008, which killed 5 students and wounded 19.

According to many sources, the plane struck the Echelon Building Office Complex.

The address of that complex is listed above. According to Biz Journals, it was either one of the two buildings that was hit. However, reports are a little skewed, so we're not quite sure which building exactly.

I just reported the plane crash only moments ago, and now more information is already coming in. We're still not quite sure what building was tagged.

UPDATE! I just learned that only 1 person has been unaccounted for. I am assuming that this person is the pilot of the plane that crashed.

2 plane crashes in two days - I just opened up ABC News to find that a single engine plane has crashed into the side of an Echelon office building in Austin, Texas. According to ABC, the crash could definitely have been suicidal. UPDATE: According to Biz Journals, one of the Echelon Buildings in Austin was hit.

Video footage of the crash is not available. Although, footage of the aftermath of the crash is. Seen on ABC, you will notice firefighters doing their best to put out the fire.

Eyewitness Statement

"It hit it and the strange thing was the engine seemed to me to running at full power. It didn't seem like the plane was in trouble. It was going full blast. It's not a very fast airplane, but this thing was really moving fast," stated pilot Jerry Cullen.

Under Investigation

A crash like this will definitely be under investigation. Currently, there are no reports on deaths or injures, although I am certain that the pilot of the plane has probably died.

If you do not read my blog too often, you will also note that there was a Palo Alto Plane Crash just the other day.

American Idol contestant, Chris Golightly was recently disqualified from the competition.

“It has been determined that Chris Golightly is ineligible to continue in the competition,” said Fox, in a recent press release. His disqualification came after he had an apparent unexpired contract with a boy band.

But just as Golightly was released from the American Idol Competition, Tim Urban was let back in. Earlier this month, Michael Lynche was also disqualified from the competition.

My Two Cents

Rules and contracts are obviously made for a reason, but it's definitely sad to see someone work so hard to simply be kicked out of the competition. I really don't see the big deal in having a contract with a boy band, and still being in the American Idol Competition. Then again, I don't know much about the music industry, so I suppose that this could be a problem.

Quite frankly, I think his conference will be extremely normal. Tiger will come out and apologize. He will then answer a few questions followed by discussing his return to the game.

Although many people are really looking forward to this conference, I really don't think it will be anything interesting. The press will probably blow it up a lot bigger than it really is... HAHAHA I mean, we're already talking about it, right?

The question of the day is, "Can you eat meat on Ash Wednesday?" I decided to dig for the answer.

I came across a post at the Huffington Post which stated that you can't eat meat on Ash Wednesday.

What does this mean?

This means that if you're a Catholic aged 14 or older, you're not allowed to eat meat today.

Bo Griffin dies at the age of 51.

The sad news first came to my attention after reading Sun-Sentinel's Blog. According to the source, the popular South Florida radio and TV star died of intestinal cancer on Tuesday, in Greenville, South Carolina.

If you reside in the area, or you listen to South Florida radio, you probably are familiar with Bo Griffin from the "Mindy and Bo Morning Show." The news of her passing is extremely sad, and many will miss her.

I know that it's not too exciting, unless you're into Business and Stocks, but according to Market Watch, Walgreen is going to Acquire Drugstore Chain, Duane Reade.

Here's what Greg Wasson, Chief Exec. had to say: "By combining the strengths of our two companies, we can improve our position as the most convenient provider of consumer goods and services, and pharmacy, health and wellness services in the country," said Greg Wasson, chief executive, in announcing the acquisition.

A plane crash is Palo Alto (California) has killed three.

According to the Huffington Post, Tesla Motors employees were on the plane when it crashed earlier today. Khobi Brooklyn, a spokeswoman for Tesla Motors could not confirm this information.

Many other websites and blogs have been stating that the three individuals killed in the accident were Tesla Motors executives.

However, victims of the crash have not yet been identified.

Basically, this whole scene is still under investigation. Many people have been showing their concerns via Twitter. Many of these Tweeters do believe that three Tesla employees have died in the crash, but again, we will have to wait for this information to be confirmed.

I have been researching the plane crash for about an hour, and all information is the same. People are saying that three people have died in the crash, but it's still under investigation.

Palo Alto Power Outage

Many more sources are confirming that houses have been damaged, and a power outage is definitely taking place, in Palo Alto. Nobody knows when the power will be back up and running.

ABC Says:

"The plane departed from Palo Alto Airport for Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Southern California Wednesday morning. The airplane crashed under unknown circumstances into the house which is one mile northeast of the airport shortly after taking off."

News just keeps getting better and better for Beaver fans, as the Ducks running back, LaMichael James was recently arrested and taken into custody by Springfield police. Turns out, James is being charged with assault charges.

I thought it was funny when LeGarrette Blount was suspended for punching the Boise State player in the face, but now this? This is NOT funny at all. I mean, it's funny because it's happening to the Ducks, but it's not funny because it's assault.

My friend was talking to me the other day about how Oregon State players always get arrested for doing stupid things. I believe that he was referring to the shooting charges a few years back. Remember, two OS players were shooting guns in their backyard? No big deal, really.

Now, LaMichael James has been arrested on assault charges. What are dudes like this thinking? You have a great life ahead of you and then you go and ruin it like this. How stupid is that?

No other information is currently available. For all we know, the charges will be dropped. But usually, when you're brought into custody for assault charges, something happened.

Hmmm.... Quizz could turn out to be a better back than LaMicahel after all.... Not like he wasn't better in the first place, anyway lol

Maybe I am the only one having a problem, but I CAN'T LOG IN TO CLICKBANK!

Kendra Wilkinson was a BIG CRYBABY after the SuperBowl, yesterday. Originally, many believe that she was sad because her husband, Hank Basket, couldn't get control of the ball, after the Saints unpredictable onside kick.

Why Was Kendra Wilkinson Crying After the Super Bowl?

Here's what she had to say: I decided to do further research and found that the paparazzi just wouldn't leave her alone. According to Wilkinson, " I wasn't cryin cuz of the damn game it's cuz the paparazzi have no soul... they wouldn't leave me n family alone!!!!"

Here's my two cents: Had the Colts won the SuperBowl, Kendra WOULD NOT have been a BIG CRY BABY. That's my two cents. Could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

Apparently, Kendra doesn't agree with me: "People like to twist this stuff... we asked them to stop cuz of the baby n they were way too close n they didn't care at allllllll."

Paparazzi VS Wilkinson

Final Note - Sure, I don't agree with the paparazzi being in anyone's face. Then again, I really don't believe Kendra Wilkinson's cover-up story, either. Had the Colt's won the Superbowl, do you really think she would've noticed the Paparazzi or cared? Face it... She was just mad that her hubby lost. The papz made the situation worse, and she lost her composure.

By now, we all know that Megan Fox isn't perfect. Her Toe Thumbs, technically called, "brachydactyly" which I talked about a few months back, are quite disturbing to some. I say, "Who cares?"

The director of super sweet Megan Fox's Super Bowl Commercial found the deal to be HUGE. Personally, I don't think any of us would've cared if she had used her real thumb in the commercial...

Megan Fox has Brachydactyly. BIG DEAL. Miley Cyrus doesn't have perfect teeth. OH NO... Honestly, dude. WHO CARES? Nobody would've criticized the commercial had her thumbs been in it. In fact, she probably would've gotten positive publicity for just BEING HERSELF. Too bad not too many celebrities can pull that for a change.

I wanted to make a quick correction -- John, not Jack Murtha, Dies today at the age of 77. UPDATE: Jack was John's middle name or nickname. :(

The Boeing 747-8 was set to take off today around 10:00 AM Pacific Time, but due to complicated weather conditions, the flight was delayed. It's still not known when the flight is set to take place.
